Twinkle's ideal home

Twinkle is looking for a home to share with her pal Dylan, where they can be the only pets and where any children are over the age of 12. They are both house trained and once settled should be fine to be left for around 3 - 4 hours. Twinkle is currently on some eye medications and medicated baths which may need to continue long term. She has also had some lumps removed and will need her new family to monitor for any new ones that may appear. Our adoption advisors would be happy to discuss this at length with any potential adopters.

Twinkle is a lovely little lady who, along with Dylan, will make a lovely companion for somebody who has a nice quiet home and lots of love and attention to give. She walks beautifully on her lead and enjoys pottering gently around site. Once she is comfortable with you she loves nothing more than getting up onto your lap for strokes and even enjoys a little brush too. Twinkle and Dylan are a very bonded pair and although Twinkle will tolerate some other dogs she can be a little selective. She would enjoy walking outside with dogs of a similar size and nature but would only share her home with Dylan.

Yorkie Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Yorkshire Terrier.

View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
