Max's ideal home
Max is a sweet but nervous boy, who came to us though no fault of his own. He is looking for an adult only home, with a family who can help build his confidence. He could live with another dog of a similar size who’s able to cope with his playful behaviour, following a successful dog introduction here at the centre. He will need a private secure garden he can potter around in and, as he is a nervous boy, he would benefit from an area he could call his own. Time alone will need to be built up slowly, as we don’t have much history on him and are unsure whether he is OK with it. His new owners must be willing to work closely with our behaviour team to help Max settle in and thrive in his new home.
Could you be Max's perfect match?
Max is a sensitive soul but doesn’t take to long to turn a corner. He can be apprehensive when first meeting new people, but after a few meets he becomes your friend and enjoys a cuddle. He is nervous in the vets, but the training team have been working with him and he is already getting better. He is still a young puppy so he can get a bit mouthy and will need training, but he loves treats and toys. He will make a lovely dog in a calm and patient home.
